This print won the 3rd/Excellence prize for the Awagami International Miniprint Exhibition 2025 in Japan!
I’m very happy and honored. I printed seven layers on the most beautiful proof sheet, Kitakata Green, with packaging, drypoint engravings in a tetrapack, and combined intaglio and relief printing with plant print. I was thinking about gardens and how we can make them greener and more natural. The print is titled “Three Thoughts of Green.”

The award ceremony is on 11 October and the exhibition is in the Awagami’s Hall of Awa Japanese Handmade Paper Museum, Yoshinogawa City, Japan. 11.10-09.11.
